Membership

​NAICOB membership is free and open to Indigenous people in Massachusetts. Although all Indigenous people are welcome at the North American Indian Center of Boston, many funding sources require documentation of American Indian/Alaskan Native/Native Hawaiian status for access to some services and programming. More details on eligibility are detailed on our Programs & Services page.

Membership requirements:
  • Identify as Indigenous, Native American, American Indian, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian, or First Nations and possess a tribal ID, band card, CBID, etc.
  • Complete a Membership Application
  • Be a Massachusetts resident
  • Be over 18 years of age
  • Participate in one or more activity at the Center per year and/or vote in the Election for Board Members
As a NAICOB member, you have to ability to vote on the organization’s leadership and on community issues, such as potential program offerings. Please call or email us with any questions or concerns that you may have regarding membership.
