Janet Williams Memorial Service

Janet Williams (June 25, 1942 – February 10, 2010)

Janet Williams, 67, of Chelsea, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at her home in Chelsea after a long illness.  Born in Wounded Knee, South Dakota, Janet had been a long time resident of Massachusetts.  Janet is survived by her children, Donna M. Williams, Shirley Two Two, Richard S. Williams all of Chelsea, and James R. Williams of Quincy.  She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Janet’s children will host a service in their mother memory at the North American Indian Center of Boston.  Friends and Community members are welcome to attend.  The service will take place on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 2:30pm.

National Native American HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

Join NAICOB for National Native American HIV/AIDS Awareness Day as we celebrate life and remember those no longer with us on March 20, 2010.

In collaboration with Harvard Pilgrim and New England HIV Education Consortium, NAICOB is pleased to host a community social featuring presentations, raffles, food and drumming for Our community.  In addition, on-site rapid HIV counseling and testing will be provided free of charge.
